A MESSAGE FROM SIGMA KAPPA’S PRESIDENT
Welcome to the Lambda Beta chapter of Sigma Kappa at Coastal Carolina University! Sigma Kappa fosters lifelong connection in sisterhood while building intellectual women. Through mutual support and respect, we inspire all members to lead a life of purpose. Our chapter was founded here in 2014, and this upcoming November we celebrate our 150th national anniversary. Since our establishment, our sisterhood continues to uphold our values of friendship, loyalty, personal growth, and service through a continuous dedication to our sisters. As proud members of the panhellenic community, we have the opportunity to make the most out of our collegiate years through service and support to our sisterhood. Our organization has five national philanthropies and each encourages our sisters to be a part of something bigger than themselves. At Sigma Kappa’s national convention in 2022, we were named one of the top 7 collegiate chapters across the United States, and this accomplishment motivated us to strive for new goals. Our chapter is proud to say we were the overall winners for the 2024 Chant Rock Relay for Life competition, and that we raised $8,296.00 for this cause in Spring 2024.
