Purposes & Values

The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) at Coastal Carolina University serves to represent all 6 of our National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities and also acts as their governing body.
Our Panhellenic Executive Board is actively involved with chapter development, including coordinating programing events based on community needs, leadership opportunities for chapter members, community service both on and off-campus, philanthropic projects, and making resource materials available to help enrich members' experience. Panhellenic membership at Coastal Carolina University is based on four core values: service, scholarship, friendship, and leadership.

We, as Undergraduate Members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.
We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.

Each chapter within Coastal Carolina’s Panhellenic community is partnered with a philanthropy unique to their organizational mission and values. Chapters host various events each semester to raise awareness and funds for their philanthropic mission. Many chapters also partner with organizations to give back to our local community through more hands-on service experiences.
✰ Scholarship ✰
Coastal Carolina Panhellenic chapters encourage and support their members’ academic success by sharing on-campus and individual chapter resources. Chapters inspire their sisters to lead and support each other, so they can excel both in and outside the classroom.
♥ Friendship ♥
Joining the Coastal Carolina Panhellenic means more than gaining more than just a sisterhood for life, but becoming a part of a greater community on campus. Panhellenic strives to strengthen bonds between members across organizations to provide a stronger sense of belonging for our members.
♕ Leadership ♕
Members of Coastal Carolina’s Panhellenic community hold leadership roles both within their organization, as well as beyond the Panhellenic Community. Members are known to take initiative through leadership opportunities within other student organizations and clubs across Coastal Carolina’s campus.
