Phi Sigma Sigma

A MESSAGE FROM PHI SIGMA SIGMA’S PRESIDENT

Hello and welcome to the Theta Beta Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma at Coastal Carolina University. Phi Sig was the first panhellenic sorority founded on campus on April 24th, 1993. Our members have spent the time synced to uphold our values: Friendship, Faith, Love, Sincerity, Integrity, and Strength. As Phi Sig members, we live out these values every day. They are apparent in our sisterhood activities, spin classes, study sessions, movie nights, group volunteer work, and a lot more.

The members of our chapter have and continue to dedicate their time to our Philanthropy, Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation with the focus on school and college readiness. From school drives, backpack builds, and reading buddies we work with local schools to help to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We have PNMs work with us on Philanthropy Day to contribute to our backpack build during formal recruitment in the fall. After that, we deliver these book bags—which are filled with the necessary supplies—to the nearby schools.

Our members' daily lives and accomplishments demonstrate our three core values: inclusivity, leadership through service, and lifelong learning. The Theta Beta chapter creates a culture of positive growth for our members during their time at Coastal by supporting both individual and chapter accomplishments. Our sisters go on to accomplish so much and it’s a blessing knowing that the Theta Beta chapter has been a part of their journey. Phi Sigma Sigma women are smart, kind, fun, genuine, strong, driven, passionate women and we hope this shines through to our community, each other, and ourselves.
